Can't Let Go EP

  • Artists Heion, Monitor 66, Rhythm Operator
  • Release Date 2012-11-19
  • Labels Dancefloor Encounters
  • Catalog DE002
  • Description Dancefloor Encounters is back at it again with our second release! When we think of LA, the first thing that comes to mind is beaches, mansions, and upbeat vibes. For Calvin James, aka Rhythm Operator, the streets are what are seen. Deep, groovy vibes which bring out the spirit of the streets and the people who walk them, while maintaining his ideals of passion, truth, and rhythm for the soul. This being said, we are proud to present to you the Can't Let Go EP.

Can't Let Go sets the mood with it's dark bassline, and dubby vocals, reminiscing those sleepless nights of not wanting to let go the dance floor.

We're taken back in time with Back In The Days, providing a bouncy organ bass, melancholic arps, and guitar riffs, Back In The Days is one to groove out to, nice and slow.

On Remix duties, Heion steps up to the plate with a slo-mo deep house groover, dubbing out his version with a combination of warmth and deepness that will really take you on a journey back in the day.

Last but not least, rising Swedish stars Monitor 66 swing things into high gear, with precision vocal chops, stunning arps, and a wobbly bassline that will leave you getting down for all time!
