Cache is a serious of extended VA release' from Ranura. 8 cuts from various artists providing a wide 'cache' of house music tastes and vibes to delve into.
This is Vol.1 and this is Ranura.
Matt McLarrie has taken time out from an extremely busy lifestyle with Younan Records to produce a stompy monster that is 'Underground Rawness'. This cut proves exactly why Matt has recently been supported by some of the freshest artists on the scene!
David Moran has delivered on such a consistent basis and time it's no different. David always let his drums do the talking in his productions, introducing the aptly named 'How About Drums'. Real chunky underground vibes doused in real groove and topped with a cheeky but relevant vocal cut.
Mikki Funk taking a break form vinyl release' exclusively to link up with Ranura. Amazing production topped with a memorizing original vocal hook. Melodic grooves once again from Mikki layered with brilliant vocals of Lauren Winter, making 'No Air' being one of the coolest cuts you'll hear!
Jack Barton is quickly being unearthed as one of the most talented producers on the underground scene and has a whole catalogue of goodies waiting to hit the scene! He backs up his fast growing reputation with a powerful display in the peak time mover 'Ronny Says Dub'.
Ave Astra has graced some of the finest labels around including paving the way for his own Roit Recordings. He joins us with 'Never Give Up'. Real peak time precessions with deep unique twists. Ave holds nothing back for this one and brings total rawness dressed in energy.
Twin Peaks supplies a real taste of the 90's house and two step influence that brought him to his ever growing perch. 'Get It On' offers another avenue on the release despite maintaining a raw house foundation.
Mentalflowz, the rising collaboration of Groove Riddim and 47SOUNDS. 2 heads are better than one and this is evidence. What i can only describe as 'The heavy end' of the release. 'Ghetto Soul' shows a feel good grooved up breakdown that gets mashed by a monster baseline.
Blabla is as fresh as they come in terms of brand new talent. Only producing and spinning less than a year, it's clear the young french man has a natural talent that he has heaped on a booming house music scene in Paris. 'Chocolate City' is one of those tracks that just oozes cool vibes. Perfect fusions of melodic grooves and chilled percussion own this cut.
