Felix turns in a wicked minimal acidic version of the original track "More Like You" from The Inhabitants debut album. Stripped back and dubbed out its a real heads down groover for the cooler dancefloor.
The Inhabitants get back to their Deep House roots with a fully fledged outing into underground house with "Don't Start Flippin It". Sublime synths drift effortlessly over a jacked up groove and repetitive vocal. The aptly named "Pursuit of Bliss" has a strong summer vibe about it, with layers of laid back synths and techy stabs cut thru a solid bass driven groove; this is heartfelt deep house that is sure to have you nodding.
The sampled soulful vocal infused "Wrecked" has a serious Daft Punk type feel with a wicked creepy groover that just builds and builds to an emphatic and resounding climax; bound to cause hysteria on the dancefloor.
More about Felix
Felix is best known for his 90s dance hit "Don't You Want Me". This anthem has the honour of appearing on just about every club classics compilation/playlist going. "Don't You Want Me" peaked at Number 6 in August 1992, and after a few commercial hits in the 90s and a few years working the underground scene, this October saw him return to the mainstream with his track "Nothin More I Need"; a banging and thoroughly modern sounding slice of dance that has already had the thumbs-up from Radio 1/1Xtra's music aficionado Mistajam.
