In celebration of Beatports tenth anniversary Baroque Records presents its Progressive House collection.
As the first label to occupy both the coveted number 1 & number 2 positions in the main Beatport chart AND the Progressive genre chart, with D-nox & Beckers Jet Lag Slave & Youre A Star back in 2005, it felt only fitting that these two tracks occupy those same positions in this collection! the Koen Groeneveld remix, which was later released in 2012, is also included.
The collection then goes onto to include other highlights from the label over the preceding years, such as the gigantic Funkagenda remix of the club classic Everytime by Lustral, and the Junkie XL remix of Ryuku Underground by Seragaki
Baroque Regulars Shiloh & Luke Chable feature too, Luke teaming up with Danny Bonnici on Colours and Shiloh appear courtesy of the Patrick Carrera & Enrico Sangiuliano remix of Pathogen.. all artists which broke through on baroque & have gone onto to make quite a stir in the industry.
Breaking artists is not all the label does though, and heavyweights such as Ticon & Phunk Investigation lay claim to a couple of spots on this collection too.
Maybe one of the most successful artists ever to make their name on the label & then go onto become huge artists are Minilogue, Baroque are proud to have released their first ever track back in 2002 In A Deeper Motion & followed this up in 2004 with Leloo. The guys then went on to release on labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Traum & Coccon before releasing the Moosfiebr remixed Doiice with Baroque again in 2013, and its with this little beauty that the album closes off.
