Felix Sanchez made his entrance to Basswalk with an outstanding release called Attenuation EP. It includes three amazing original tracks. The first one To Many Boys presents a simple intro made by some of the background elements, which are immediately followed by the base sounds which sets up the beginning of the track's groove. The bass line and general vibe creates a very groovy track and to finish the construction, some occasional vocal lines appears to make their thing, especially during the break. The second one called Attenuation has a much techno soul and we can really hear it in the hi-hats arrangements and bass line also. The backend synth pads do their part also, creating a great underground techno ambience with a very solid hypnotic vibe too. The third track called Industrial 091 is the one with the highest minimalistic approach, but it's also complemented perfectly by an extremely groovy bass line that makes this track the perfect choice to raise up the stakes in a solid warm up session. And for last and not least we have a single remix for this release of Industrial 091 made by the special collaboration between Ben Teufel and Tarde. They both worked over this track using many elements from the original track, but giving their remix a slightly deeper approach using a cleaner base and of course the vocal and percussion lines to generate a great mood into the listener.
