For the next episode of H-Productions Archeology Excavation series, Tony Rohr delves deep into his personal production library to unearth the tracks that tell the story of how he became the artist he is today. A key member of H-Productions roster, Tonys 2011 Oddlantik Avenue album kick started the labels current modus operandi of working exclusively with a core unit of producers. For Archeology Exc.3, Tony focuses on productions that were released between 1999 and 2003, charting his emergence from being a new kids on the Techno block at the turn of the millennium to becoming a globally recognized talent at the vanguard of evolving the use of technology within the production of Techno. Compiled mainly from Rohrs extensive back catalogue with Dietrich Schoenemaans Hidden Agenda label, the mix includes some of Rohrs best known work including the pioneering Subrosa, the universally popular Baile Conmigo on Macintosh, Dead Chewy on Cocoon Recordings and My Mind Is Going Dub and Who The Fuck Knows releases for Weave Music; all re-mastered, re-edited and painstakingly placed into a 76-minute mix that reminds us why Tony Rohr has such an enduring name within Techno and uncovers the roots of Rohrs pumping, tribal sound.
