Inspired by two famous fortresses which have stood for centuries where the Black Sea drains into the Bosphorus Strait on its way to the Mediterranean in Istanbul, Triart composes two tracks to transform both historical pieces into melodies.
"Anadolu" slowly comes alive with a filtered percussion loop and kick leading us up to the first drop. While the first drop unleashes the bass focused layers, trademark classy breakdown with strings and piano solo taking the unbridled euphoria into a more subtle and considered place. The second drop brims pure euphoria and an undulating, spectacular energy to show a fine example of the trio's ability to combine solid dancefloor friendly production.
On the other side, "Rumeli" continues to shape the EP into a deeper and emotional core with club floor provoking beats & bass and an anthemic leadline in the drop. The traditional Turkish "Ney" sounds in the breakdown complements trio's signature piano with a melodic synth pattern leading back into the whole other dimension on the dancefloor.
Each individual piece stands alone on its own merit and authenticity, but when grouped together into a package, it is a genuinely executed and incredibly cohesive vision come to life.
