Behold the first release from Brooklyn’s dark princess of bass Star Eyes. This Trouble & Bass DJ likes to call her style “haunted house, and be warned: this is five tracks of gothic dancefloor madness topped with monster bass and Star Eyes’ own spooky vocals.

Star Eyes has been DJing since the age of 15 and played around the world, from Cape Town to Warsaw, San Francisco to London’s Fabric. She’s appeared in Urb, Trace, NY Post, TimeOut, XLR8R, and many more magazines for her DJ skills, and now it’s time for her to drop her first EP straight from the darkest corner of the warehouse.

“Disappear,” produced with Drop The Lime, is a song about the agony and ecstasy of rave, with monster acid bass, massive reverb, and brain-twisting backwards vocals. Mikix The Cat turns in a hard-hitting house remix that will have you punching walls, while Dexplicit comes through with a heavy bassline wobbler and Cardopusher slams down a spacey sub-rattling dubstep version. Last but not least, “Happy Haus,” co-produced with Math Head, mixes ’80s goth vibes and Booka Shade synth lines with a Pandora’s box of terror breaks and vampire vox.
