Cosmo Nuts is a new project from russian boys Roby Howler (Top Billin) and Sunko (Crux). Together they're creating catchy club tunes that range between House and Bass Music. On their debut EP on Globelle they show up with two tracks that combine powerful basslines with funky samples that remind us of the glorious disco days of the 70s. ?Crazy Love?, the main single, gets a remix treatment by french jack-of-all-trades Jean Nipon, who caused a stir with his ?Cairo EP? on the former Institubes label (R.I.P.) back in 2010. If you were ever wondering, what genre-breaking future club music should sound like, Jean's remix serves as an example par excellence. It's a felicitous blend of 2step/Garage and Techno. Second remixers on duty are hungarian high-flyers Slap In The Bass, who delighted us with releases on Malente's No Brainer Records and Southern Fried Records lately. Their remix is a catchy straightened version of ?Crazy Love? that transforms the original into a rave hymn which might release a lot of bass and pressure in the world's clubs quite soon. The second Cosmo Nuts track ?Stay Away? has not been shortened in comparism to the main single ? it might not be a surprise, if some of you will dig out your old flares and flowered shirts after this listening pleasure.
