Born as the brainchild of middle school friends, San Francisco natives Elric Weibel and Scott Holland, the 219 Boys, are utilizing their extensive musical background to forge a new jackin catalogue thats built on house and decorated with bass. Having both previously experimented with solo projects in the past, together, the 219 Boys project offers double the rhythms, double the grooves, and double the bass lines. Ready to pummel through the speakers in venues around the world, 219 Boys make their debut on Perfect Driver Music with their self-titled EP, out on November 17th.

The 219 Boys EP starts off with the timid, etheric risers of The Full Effect. You wont be in the atmospheric headspace for long as a the soft intro gets swallowed up by a grimey filtered bass line that was seemingly plucked right out of a warehouse dance floor in the UK. The grime flavor continues on the next track Move On which expertly encapsulates house musics current and future nuances. Move On will easily find a home on the sets of any house curator and even speed garage purveyors (for those who like to push the tempo).

Lush synths meet heavy bass as 219 Boys bring a fresh sound to their releases that you definitely need to keep an eye on.
