The torch of inaptitude burns on with the return to Wrong by its co-founder Asad Rizvi.
"Is That My Wig?" you read. Keep your hair on you wrong'uns, we hear you say. Well people it's a fact: gentlemen prefer blonde wigs. And they certainly don't like them to go walkies. The song documents the tragic tale of a man, whom having been long separated from his beloved headpiece, found himself reduced to robotic mutterings of this heart-wrenching conundrum. It's a story of hope and resilience pitted against the constant challenge of repetitious disappointment and senility. Unfortunately our distributors didn't feel the 4-hour orchestral version would work for the dance market so we had to update it into something we thought you lot would play. The final result is 7 minutes action-packed with raw adventure in which real gremlins were actually recorded running loose in a real fireworks factory. "It's a metaphor for his turmoil," says the bespectacled Rizvi.
The story concludes in "Lost in Tranzit", where our protagonist has not only lost his toupet but his way in life. In doing so he lands himself on a path to enlightment where, according to Rizvi, he is "free of attachment and the cosmestic materialism that had haunted him for so long". Touching stuff.
So let's let allow the music do the rest of the talking and the wigs do the walking...
