Music with essence never needed words, music always made all the job. In a high advanced technological era, people started to hear music with their eyes instead of simply listening. A good Dj/Music Lover always had his favorite artists and references. In times like this, people started to see names, see images, great marketing machines working behind the truth itself. The research for music has literally stopped. Nowadays a "good record" has to have high visibility in website sales, needs to be attached to something "known", or, in some cases a "well known" dj feedback is halfway to achieve good visibility, better sales volume, and so on. This usually happens from well known to well known artists, so the musical cycle and power belongs all the time to the same people/ group of artists. This was supposed to be the release review/promotional text for listeners to read before the listening (in an semi-intended persuasion to make you want to hear the release) Usual words like: "impressive", "supported by "dj x"", "super hit", "bomb", "charted by "y"", "massive", "one of the best releases this year" (and so on) should be used to describe the record in another attempt to achieve your attention. Try to hear music with no strings attached, just listen! If you use Beatport (in case you no longer buy vinyl) its supposed to have your favorite artists selected for a better filtered search so you dont have to waste time on crap music, so, once on a while, choose your favorite genre, and hear all the releases with your screen off (use the right arrow key to skip music & pages faster so you dont have to click each time you want to skip a song) and youll see the result. Youll find tons of crap than even shouldnt have been released (of course) but somehow youll find something completely fresh, new and extremely good from someone completely covered from the marketing machines and the musical cycle. Have fun as I do with music. Dont loose the essence, music. This record is a reflection of Pedro Goyas state of mind in a certain period of his life, the rest is music. Call it Deep-House, House, Slowmotion, Techno...you name it.
