Born and raised in Montreal,Canada, F5(Frank V.) was exposed to music at a very young age. Like most DJs he started with the the mixtape, opening the door to the house parties, and local gigs. Due to the creativity that was strongly present, F5 wanted to be different, like may DJs he looked up to at the time and still does from varying genres, DJ's from the likes of, Armand van Helden, Frankie Knuckles, Lil Louis, Josh Wink, Serious Danger, Sneaker Pinps, to DJ Tiesto, Arman Van Buren, Ferry Corsten, Chris Liebing, and Mojado , just to name a few.
