Atomik Tony

I'm Atomik Tony, and I've been Djing and producing my own music for over 7 years now. Growing up in Santiago, Cape Verde, an island off the coast of Africa, my music is influenced by the sounds of my culture and community, as well as my experience in the United States. With roots in Afro-House percussion, soulful House and Hip-Hop beats, sprinkled with my grooves. His sound has musical influences ranging from traditional African instruments and rhythms to modern bass-heavy club music, each track is as personal as it is entertaining. It's a celebration of identity and discovery, a coming-of-age story in sound. Atomik uses his own cultural heritage to match instrumental passages with the kind of live drumming.
