As a founding member of Atlanta's Bad Seed Creations, Subconscious' musical journey began with a love for 70s Funk and Soul, influenced by his parents. Drawn to Hip Hop in the 80s, he embraced its roots in Funk, leading to a passion for EDM, specifically Jungle/Drum N Bass in the 90s. Subconscious, the first DnB DJ in Atlanta to regularly play out using Serato, co-organized events with Bad Seed Creations, featuring artists like J. Majik, Infiltrata (aka 12th Planet), Faust & Shortee, and Evol Intent. In 2020, amid the pandemic, he co-founded the Atlanta DJ Collective (ADJC). He currently co-runs Torch DNB, one of the longest running DNB nights in Atlanta supporting all locals. In 2024, Subconscious launched Bad Seed Creations as a label, focusing on the sounds of Drum
