Sophie Joe

Sophie Joe is a vocalist, DJ, and producer who blends ambient, electronic, jazz, and classical influences into immersive, emotionally rich soundscapes. Born in Singapore and now based in the South of France, she began playing piano at age five and was performing live by eleven. Her formal training in theatre, music, and sound art spans institutions like Berklee College of Music and University of the Arts London. Known for layering improvised vocals into her DJ sets, Sophie brings a raw, expressive energy to the dance floor. Her vocal textures were featured in Courtesy’s track for the CHANEL Fall/Winter 2022 Haute Couture show in Paris. With roots in mindfulness and performance, Sophie bridges sound, movement, and visual culture in her work.
