Sofia Kourtesis

Sofia Kourtesis is a Peruvian-born, Berlin-based producer, DJ, and activist whose music draws from her Latin American roots and Berlin’s club culture, merging house, techno, and organic textures to create a sound that is both intimate and expansive. Her debut album Madres—a tribute to love, resilience, and hope—earned widespread acclaim, solidifying her as one of electronic music’s most compelling voices. Beyond the studio, Kourtesis is a dynamic DJ, known for high-energy, emotionally charged sets that take listeners on a journey through hypnotic rhythms and vibrant, percussive soundscapes. She has performed at renowned festivals such as Glastonbury and Primavera Sound, and toured with artists like Caribou, Four Tet and Floating Points.
