René Lahar has been mired in Berlin’s electronic music and club scene since he was a teenager. At the age of 16 he already made his first experiences in clubs like Tresor which was quite young at that time as well as in former Bunker. Back then he was already keen to also come up with own projects and host parties – but as a host, not as an artist.Eight years and many parties later, René held his own first party with Erik (today a member of the famous live act duo ELECTRIXX) and further events followed. In 2001, René got t o know Met ronom Club's crew in Berlin. Todays global players like Alfred Heinrichs and Sascha Braemer from Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner, René Bourgeois, Martin Books and many more belonged to that crew/artists who enjoyed their passion for electronic music every weekend.Due t o Love Parade’s cancellat ion in July 2005 Metronom Club apparently had to be closed and everyone focused on his own projects. At that time René paid attention to his profession as a digital media designer/programmer and started with his own events not until August 2009. In the meantime he also worked on producing his own tracks but he was never satisfied with the results. With the change to Ableton Live he produced the first tracks and live sets he could identify himself with. Furthermore, he founded his agency DeepARTMind Berlin which is also the platform for his music. The agency DeepARTMind concentrates on designing media/web sites, artist and event management, marketing and since 2010 also increasingly on the production and commercialisation of own tracks. After several events René hosted with René Bourgeois in elite clubs in Berlin like Suicide Circus, Dice Club or M-Bia near Alexanderplatz in 2009/2010, René is really looking forward to his first gigs abroad in 2012 and promises to carry away the one or the other with his planned and already finished releases & DJ sets.
