He has been spinning Jungle/DnB since 1993 alongside some of the biggest names in Drum and Bass (Andy C, Reprazent, A-Sides, Dieselboy to name a few). From 1996 to 1999 he was a resident DnB DJ on 113 Audio which was one of the first streamed DnB broadcasts on the internet. He was also the host of "Abstractions" - Nashville's original weekly DnB radio show on WRVU 91.1 FM (1996-2000), and "DnBFM" on WWHR 91.7 FM (2001-2004). MK2 held numerous residencies at DnB nights including the first DnB weekly in Seattle WA (1996) with Donald Glaude. MK2 began producing DnB in 1996 and in 1999 started M.A.D. From 2000-2004 he released 8 EP's on vinyl either as MK2 or under a collaborative psuedonyms (Dirty South, Bootleg, Ken2Keys) as well as his first LP "Future Primitive" (2003).
