Childhood friends Thiago Glau and Anderson Bublitz, from Blumenau – SC, started in 2004 going out to nightclubs and music festivals. Soon they realised electronic music, more specifically techno, was their gig. In 2005, at one of those parties, they decided to enter the music scene themselves. From this idea, they started out playing at home parties and, by the end of 2005, Electro Village (their own festival) was materialised. At first they played solo with no more than a couple CDJs 100. With no experience whatsoever but strongwilled, soon they refined their skills and gained lots of experience. Electronic music was certainly part of what they aimed for, and their differential was the several state-of-the-art equipment and innovative methods they accumulated and expressed year after year. 2011 was a turning point for them. Anderson Bublitz opted for an academic degree at IAEM (International Academy of Electronic Music), when he began listening to music and mixing in a whole different way. By the end of 2011, he and Thiago Glau decided to begin a project together. They both graduated in musical production, setting a new aim to themselves. The project shared already the line up with huge national and international artists, such as Kanio, Victor Ruiz, Flex B, Gregori Klosman, Chris Lawer, DJ Glen, Gustavo Mota, DeMarzo, Element, Vegas, and others. Their German ancestry makes them perfectionists, being extremely rigorous on their mixings and tracks. Each and every presentation is prepared to the lesser detail, combining tracks from techno to tech house, sometimes even passing through minimal. Their sound is easily recognized by its powerful bass lines, continuous white noise and creative switches. Neither better nor worse, but unique, and that’s how it ends or even better, begins a new milestone in the history of these two Brazilians, Liquefied!
