Lesley Jones

DJ Lesley Jones is an Amsterdam based DJ and producer, formerly known as Funky Junkie. Lesley has been inspired by music since he can remember. At the age of 9 he was already making mixtapes for the pretty girls in his street, when he realized music is a universal language. Lesley started his DJ career at a local radio station at age 13 and is still hosting his own radio show at Amsterdam Funk Channel, a Funk Soul and R&B station which Lesley founded back in 2010. Two years after he started as a radio host, age 15, Lesley was asked to substitute for a friend who was resident DJ at one of the few clubs in his hometown of IJmuiden (NL) and that was the ignition for his professional DJ career.
