Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Léon Kadillak has started to make his mark in the music scene. Learning the roots of music production and djing while in high school, he quickly immersed himself in the melodic and groovy genres of house, progressive, trance and drum n bass. Being influenced from large acts like Carl Cox, Hybrid, Sasha, Armin van Buuren, LTJ Bukem, BT, Above and Beyond, Noisia, Crystal Method and Deadmau5, León acquired his taste in melodic and aggressive electronic dance music. Fast forward a few years, and Leon is now producing and DJing his own adaptation of electronic music using custom mapped controllers with a production based approach. Ranging from the downtempo (trap, drumstep, glitchhop), to the the midrange styles of house, progressive and trance as well as the uptempo styles of drum n bass, Léon Kadillak exposes his fans to a wide array of aural awe. Breaking out in January of 2012 Léon Kadillak independently released his first commercial record with great success. Working with internet dancing star Marquese “Nonstop” Scott, and The DVI Group, “Audio 911” or better known in the music scene as “ReAnimation” was born. Garnering over 1.5 million views on YouTube in just a few months, ReAnimation blew up to unexpected heights and was charting on iTunes alongside Deadmau5, Nero, MSTRKRFT and Bassnectar. Quickly after the success of ReAnimation, León released a remix of Comfortable Swagg by R&B singer Jon B to great acclaim. Amidst various singles, and collaborations, Léon Kadillak has recently wrapped up his latest project aptly titled, “The Hit List”, which is now available for free.
