Long-time musician, drummer, and bassist in various reggae constellations Johan turned his mind towards the electronic music scene in the early 21st century. Johan Staaf started out making downtempo chillout music on a Roland JX-305 and then progressed into digital production and recording studios. Now he is an educated sound engineer, songwriter, and producer at Stockholm based creative media schools SAE Institute and Kulturama. After some years in the commercial music scene making hits he has now found his place in the electronic music scene with a focus on producing and playing the music he loves, deep groovy dance music from minimal house to melodic driven 'folktechno' with a lot of soul, energy, and emotions. Strongly influenced by his rhythmic instrumental background, Johan has a sound that focuses on the groove and strives for a perfect combination
