Hunter Square

Hunter Square is the joint vision of Kris Trindl (ex-Krewella) and Mat Devine (AKA Wrongchilde, ex-Kill Hannah). A close friendship forged in the winters of Chicago, they came together in October 2014 in Los Angeles to collaborate on a remix for the Wrongchilde song, Falling in Love (Will Kill You) [ft. Gerard Way]. The success of that collaboration (debuted by DJ Zane Lowe on RADIO 1 BBC; premiered online by THUMP) opened the door to a new world of songwriting for the pair, who are now in the studio putting the finishing touches on their first original tracks. With Devine's distinct vocal style and dark lyrics, and Trindl's cinematic production, the sound of Hunter Square rides that edge between mood-driven deep house/indie and Top 40 electronica.
