Geo-D reigns from San Francisco and has collaborated and played alongside some of the most notable electronic and progressive talent of our time. His sets root in classic turntablism and represents the hard hitting progressive house and dutch house genre – creating a unique sound bringing “old guard” techniques while obliterating the usual “press play” acts so easily found today.
From the early age, Geo-D immersed himself in turntablism with the direction of notable artists such as DJ PONE, and DJ Guzie of the Rock-It Scientists. In 2012, Geo-D was chosen among thousands of contestants to compete in Macworld's first Dj contest, "RISE" in San Francisco and notably received praise for his turntablist inspired set by infamous midi DJ Tech-Tools guru and producer, Ian Golden.
Currently remixing and producing his own tracks, Geo-D's musical arsenal has gained the attention of notable blogs and artists.
Not to mention his live sets have been said to echo Laidback Luke's crowd presence and track selection. Geo-D has notably played alongside infamous players in the electronic scene such as Adrian Lux, Ferry Corsten, BT, Porter Robinson, Apl.de.Ap and Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas.
In an age of plug and play DJing, “Everyone is a DJ,” and musical artistry has become lost because it’s simply So. Damn. Easy. Enter the solution. Enter Geo-D.
