It’s almost 5am inside one of LA’s longest running after-hours, Frenzy, inside the world famous Avalon nightclub. The DJ has the sold out crowd writhing to funky breaks and rumbling sub bass grooves.
This is just a typical night for Frenzy resident and one of LA’s most sought after DJ/Producers, Eric Jerome.
Growing up in NYC during the rise of the rave scene and warehouse parties Eric was able to immerse himself in the sounds of legendary DJs and artists such as Frankie Bones, Onionz, Todd Terry, Little Louie Vega, Dee-Lite, Junior Vasquez, New Order, the Ramones, Parliament, Larry Levan, Kenny Dope, MAW, Frankie Knuckles. So it’s no surprise his style is a combination of all these influences along with his own vision of the future of techno and house music.
Eric has held DJ residencies and guest slots spinning at clubs in NY (Marquee), LA, San Diego (The Ivy, On Broadway, The Standard) and Las Vegas(TAO). Sharing the booth with some of the world’s biggest DJs including Carl Cox, Benny Benassi, Jason Bentley, Boys Noize, DJ Dan, Richard Vission, Felix The Housecat, Tommie Sunshine, Onionz, Terry Mullen and more.
As well as producing tracks as a solo artist Eric produces and performs techno/tech house under the NACHTFALKEN moniker with his partner Greg Goldberg. He also produces electro house as one half of STEREOTRONIX with Sergio “$uperfox” Aguirre.
Outside of dance music Eric is a sought after multi-instrumentalist, remixer and producer for many genres. He is the DJ/producer for electro/hip hop group PINK TIE MAFIA and DJ for dub reggae group IRONI featuring Isreal Joseph (Bad Brains) on vocals.
With an established recording history and 20+ years of stellar live shows in the music scene on both coasts of the US his career speaks for itself. With productions on such esteemed labels as Electrik Soul Recordings, Nightchild Records and The Seed he continues to progress the sound of tech and house to the next level. Eric is always creating, innovating, entertaining and consistently moving crowds with his productions and live sets. We expect big things from him in the years to come.
