Music tends to cross barriers and take us to unimaginable places; such is the case of Carlos Zárate, who from a very young age has been immersed in the world of electronic music, encompassing various genres ranging from deep house to breaks and techno. In 2011, ’El Zárate’ moved to “the capital of the world of live music” that is Austin, Texas, the site where he began his journey under Movement Collective, a music production company he co-created alongside friends, and took over the most underground parties in the city.
