Spettro – Houston, TX (Bush Records, King Street Sounds, Uniform Recordings)
Diversely talented Edward Scott, aka Spettro, is a mosaic of vivid music. Embracing the full spectrum of techno and house, he responds to the moment — be it to feed the fire of a large club or appeal to the deeper side of an intimate atmosphere. With an energetic mixing style and visible passion for moving with the crowd, his live performances are a heightened experience. Rooted two decades-deep in the Texas underground, Spettro’s following is as loyal as it is extensive, and his productions are played around the globe.
Notable achievements include works licensed to Defected, OM, Renaissance (under moniker Green Thumb), MTV, and the hit television show Breaking Bad. Spettro’s recent productions include original material for Tenampa (co-produced with Josh Dupont), Blacksoul Music & Nightshade Music (co-produced with Trent Johnson) King Street & Nite Grooves, remix work for Carl Cox (co-produced with Alex Clavijo), and original material for the iconic King Street and Bush Records (co-produced with Alex Clavijo).
Spettro's current project Extended Play is a duo effort with long-time friend Josh Dupont. After their first release "The Triumph" (as Spettro & Josh Dupont), Extended Play enters the stage on October 21, 2013, with their original E.P. "Lust & Fire" feat. Brandon West on Louder Music (Mexico). Extended Play has remix work coming for Psychmagik on Crosstown Rebels, and several original E.P.s available for signing.
