Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Drew Porter spent his college years in Boston at Berklee College of Music training in vocals, songwriting, composition, and production. During this time he recorded and wrote with a number of producers, artists, and friends who helped him find his sound and set him on a path to success.He eventually came in contact with Dale Askew of Audiofreaks production studios in London through his connections at Berklee. From this friendship he was able to work in London’s Galactic studios formerly known as London's famous "Hit Factory." Writing and recording with world renown producers and writers, the anthem “What You Need Right Now,” came about and has made it’s way into the top UK Music Weekly Charts and throughout Europe, being played by over a thousand DJ’s and sitting on CDs along side Kelly Clarkson, PitBul, Demi Lovato, Ashley Allen, Sean Paul, and others. Now signed to labels throughout the world this looks like the start of a very promising career for Drew Porter.
