I started making electronic music in the early ninetees as a kid. As a 16 years old boy, I started a Melodic-Core Band „Artificial DNA“ with friends of mine. I played the guitar and did the vocals and the lyrics. Later in the ninetees, as I was 18 years old, I played a lot of vinyls and opted for a stage name „DJ ETNIK“. Me and my friends, like DJ „TEX BE“ were spinning hip-hop records in clubs and organising jams. Pretty soon I returned to my acidhouse roots and started developing my own techno sound. I would lose track of time creating my own music with my computer and external synthesizers. During that time I developed a passion for mathematical sciences which led me into other projects and activities. The music producing kept on, and developed itself into more of a nu Rave and frenchhouse sound. I created dirty and chaotic beats as „TRSHGRDN“ with my Juno 60, Virus C my Nord Rack 1, something completely different to my prior minimalhouse and techno phase. I enjoyed collaborating with a friend of mine, Nils Delfmann, a graphic designer and photographer with crazy ideas, that we incorporated in my music for a complete audio-visual adventure. In that time (2007-2011) I was Dj-ing and live performing as a part of the „Ohrklang-Crew“. Among other, I drew inspiration from Berlin, that captivated me through its clubscene, especially deephouse and technomusic movement. As a result my music transformed into a house and techno experience, which I provide on stage, as DOMEE VALDEZ .
