
DJ Hussler grew up with different music influences ranging from house, funky house to underground hard dance. In the early 90s he imported UK and European underground dance music into the South African rave scene before relocating to London in '98. Being at the epicentre of the hard dance scene, he was heavily influenced by music from Tony De Vit, BK, Andy Farley, Organ Donors, Nick Sentience, Phil Reynolds, Illogic, Fergie, and Paul Glazby. His DJing was limited to house parties, until a friend wrote him in for a national DJ competition, surprising him on the night of his slot. DJ Hussler won 8 competitions in a row to take out the Southern England heats, making it to the finals. Whilst he didn’t win the overall competition, the experience propelled
