COTU [Citizen of the universe] ➤ COTU was born and raised in the Far East of Russia, but always felt like a Citizen of the Universe. Guided by a deep curiosity and hunger for adventure, he set out on a journey that took him to Thailand—where everything changed. It was New Year’s Eve 2016 at the SIMIRAM Festival on Koh Phangan, his very first electronic music festival. The dancefloor was a wooden platform suspended above the sea, facing a giant rock where vivid visual projections lit up the night.
