DJ and promoter on the underground scene since 1996, Raphaël de Sauvage became host and selector in his own show in 2003 for Vibration Radio. His ‘Digitalk FM’ program resonated many years with Brussels’s music-loving masses with a selection of belgian talented guests better-know today under the names of The Magician,Aeroplane, Mugwump or Loulou Players.After his first forays into production in the mid 2000's with several other producers including his friend Kolombo, he perfected his technique and decided to start his own project called Cabaret Nocturne in 2012. Cabaret Nocturne is building of non-formulaic music, fusing together 80's pop music, industrial, new-beat influences with melancholic italo waves, dark bass lines and strange house beats - 'Astro Tango' EP (including a Justin Robertson's remix) is being the cornerstone of a catalogue that so far has spawned releases and remix on Join Our Club or Dear Deer. In the meantime he sifts through new music - including exclusives from other artists - every month into a mixtape: 'K7 Nocturne'. With his musical vision he gained support from the cream of the contemporary electronic dance music crop including Erol Alkan, Magda, Gui Boratto, Matt Walsh, Danton Eeprom, Jacques Renault aka Runaway, Him_Self_Her, Shir Khan, Marc Piñol, Javi Redondo, Eskimo Twins, Golden Bug, Dimitri Veimar... Focusing on an ever broadening horizon, Cabaret Nocturne continuing constantly his production efforts hiding himself beneath his bowler hat.
