Since emerging in 2021 with his debut release ‘Closer/The Bell Jar’, Bacavi has made a name for himself as an artist to watch in Bristol. The producer’s sound straddles an ambitious fusion of lopsided synths and evocative melodies, channelling the creativity of Metronomy and Little Dragon while also transmitting sturdy club energy in the spirit of Daphni, Lxury, and Simon Doty. Bacavi’s 3-track ‘Never Do’ EP on Icarus’ Fly Boy Records came out earlier this year, catching the attention of Sarah Story for her Dance show on BBC Radio 1, and picking up support from KISS FM’s Leftwing:Kody, KISS Fresh’s AmyElle, and Rinse FM. Add to this Bacavi’s inclusion as one of Ben Malone’s Future 5 Artists for 2022 on KISS FM and 2022 is set to be a promising year
