Following on from his track "Absynt" last year and his recent remixes for FTC, Anthony Voitik is back again in 2012 with "Windown Vein". Once again featuring the delicious vocals of Lulu Fonda, this track features a hypnotic vocal which highlights the quest for answers which each of us have faced at one time or another.
The Original Mix is a choppy, atmospheric, almost "progressive" groove which pumps along nicely and carries us with it until the spacey and airy breakdowns which give the vocal the space to get its message across beautifully. Definitely one for those moments where you want the crowd to just drift away into the moment.
The Mihell & Pinkfinger Remix, on the other hand, is a skippier and techier take on the track with a bouncy groove that just builds and builds through the body of the track, interspersed with dirty vocal snaps, until the main breakdown with it's slightly trancey overtones and big build up, and then back into the same awesome groove to play out.
A great track for those of you that love a touch of vocal to help stamp the message of the track without dominating and a sure-fire way to build the energy in any set.
