Only a few weeks have gone by since the Indepth Music Rec has released My Dreams EP, a piece from Genetikal Twins, the label owners, that received wide support from the likes of Moodymanc, Hermanez, Slam and Emerson Todd among others. And now, like a Christmas present, Indepth is delivering What Did You Say, a stunning EP by the Italian Manuel de Lorenzi. Having released solo projects and collaborations on labels such as Immigrant Digital, 8bit, Rhythmetic, Highgrade, Catwash and Akbal Music, he now returns to present new ideas in collaboration with his good friend, Paul Dc.
The track from which the EP gets its name is a hypnotic yet intelligent trip to the tech-house land of grooves and bells. The vocalist is heard asking what did you say in several parts of the track, adding a mental aspect to the song. This original mix offers us as a great variety of percussion sounds including claps, hats and cowbells. To say that the Inxec remix of What did you say is a powerful tool, would be a huge understatement. The deep synth and the massive groove will destroy your dancefloor, mainly in the second part of the track. Pay attention to the clap because it will get you shaken up Try not to dance!
For the second original mix, we have Mistake. The deep synths create a unique atmosphere, armed with a hot female voice and freaky effects. Sensual and warm, this Lorenzi production fits perfectly in the smartest and most elegant settings.
Finally, Bernauer is characterized by a complex groove, including vocals similar to Kraftwerk, while the hypnotic synths and chords play with classic drum machine hits. With this forth cut we get another complete release by the unstoppable Indepth Music.
