Jose De Divina and Javi Murdok's Climatic Sound imprint return, fresh from the release of their Mirco Violi EP and ready to unleash their latest club smash. This time from the Spanish duo Leix & Ronro. After 15 years of sharing their musical tastes behind the decks, it made perfect sense for the duo of Leix & Ronro to team up in the studio. The pair now work hard to keep their brand of house and techno constantly evolving. The Spanish duo are well known in their home country, having manned the decks on some of the finest floors. Barraca, Narita Club and Hanger Club have all tasted the residential grooves of Leix & Ronro. Their residencies have a seen the pair work alongside some of the greatest DJ names, and now it is their music that features in the sets of many. Since their first release alongside Felipe Venegas on Fumakilla, and with releases and remixes since, for the likes of Barraca Music and of course Climatic Sound. The beats of Leix & Ronro can now be found in the wallets and record boxes of DJ's including Laurent Garnier, Livio & Roby, Richie Hawtin, Brothers' Vibe, Luciano, Loco Dice, Mathias Kaden, Nic Fanciulli and many more.. With 2010 off to a busy start with releases lined up on Micro-Fibres, Melisma Records and Novotek, it gives us great pleasure at Climatic Sound to be bringing you their first of the year, the 'Wapa E.P.' The guys original track brings us some much needed Spanish warmth to these cold months. Funk guitar, sparkling keys and groove-some bassline thats drops in at four and half minutes make this a true winter warmer. On the remix package, the label have gone all out once again. First up is label artist Nima Gorji who locks things down into a tight, percussive groove. Keeping the original's funk, and matching it with little jackin' flavour, our Ibiza resident turns in a fantastic reworking. As does Felipe Venegas, who delivers a tighter wound set of beats. Much snare work and a bassline to die for, will make this a sure fire favourite for many. Label heads Javi Murdok and Jose De Divina step up next to deliver more joy to ears. Taking it deeper, the pair wrap is in the warmth of the keys, and their own blend of dubby bass and hand-claps. Finally for those of you who like something a little more 'breaks', Leix and Ronro have delivered two of their very own Breaks versions. Another wonderful release from Jose and Javi's superb label.
