BOY KID CLOUD
FLAAAVOUR / WAR - VIP'S
OUT 24th APRIL ON FILTH FM RECORDS
Following on from the huge releases on Dandy Kid Records, Boy Kid Cloud returns with these twisted reworks of two
of his biggest tunes to date, Flaaavour' and War'. The two will be released as a double A-side single on 24th April
through the label arm of Filth FM.
Unrelenting in it's viciousness, the two tracks are ear-shattering, floor smashers of the highest quality and show just
why Boy Kid Cloud has become one of the hottest young names in the dubstep scene today.
Flaaavour' rides in on a wave of sunset synths and urban grooves before obliterating the senses with a jaw-dropping
stab of computer noise and scattering rhythm, bringing an almighty shake to your spine and an inevitable raise of the
hands. War' then skews the original's take on oriental, 16-bit software sounds before an aural onslaught of bass and
pounding kick drums heave you into an unstoppable whirlwind of sound, only breaking to remind you that what you
are experiencing is War' itself.
Boy Kid Cloud aka Darryl Joseph Lewis Reid is a 21 year old DJ/Producer from Leicester that has already caused
quite a stir with his debut releases on Dandy Kids in the UK and US. His first ever EP for Flaaavour' hit the top 10 of
the Beatport official dubstep chart, reaching Number 2 and gaining massive international support from DJs around
the globe along the way. Having already played live alongside the likes of AC Slater, A1 Bassline, Rico Tubbs and
Foamo, as well as remixing Plan B and Fun Lovin' Criminals, this Boy is sure to be touching the Clouds before long.
Boy Kid Cloud has been a name that has been floating around in the dance community for some time now. With his
tracks FLAAAVOUR' and War' constantly spinning on the radio waves, and DJ's across the planet dropping them,
he is quickly becoming one of 2011′s hidden pleasures.
