PINS AND NEEDLES are proud to present you the 3rd instalment and this time it is no other than London based production and DJ duo POUSSEZ with their amazing EP VERMOUTH, SUNSHINE AND CODEINE. POUSSEZ who successfully run their own record label Artizan Music as well as their own club nights all over London, are no stranger to the dance music scene with massive releases on labels such as Toolroom Records, Neurotraxx Gold and Recovery Tech. The main track VERMOUTH, SUNSHINE AND CODEINE is an amazing deep tech, peak-time dancefloor filler with melodic chords, a smooth running bass line and catchy drum loops. This track definitely brings everyone in the swing, no doubt about that! Their second track on the EP PISCO in the other hand is a more laid-back Deep House tune with a housey drum beat, up-lifting chord and synth stabs and a groovy low end. The vocal snippets perfectly suit to the chilled ambient and make it another massive Deep House track. For these two impressive tracks we took the chance to get some outstanding remixers. VERMOUTH, SUNSHINE AND CODEINE has been remixed by CLAIRE RIPLEY & ZEITGEIST who have released under their own name on exclusive labels such as Dessous, Katchuli, 1trax and Tsuba, just to name a few. Their remix is a definite floor killer, modified into their own production style with deep, pumping beats and an unique arrangement of the synths and chords of the original. Also on remix duties is a debut collaboration of PINS AND NEEDLES label honcho PHILIPP ORT and Collider's own SCOTT D'SOUZA. Their remix is a total reconstruction of the Original Mix with a bit of a tribal feel to it and massive drum arrangements. And last but surely not least we have Canadian based production duo EZLV who came up with a mind-boggling remix of PISCO. Their Chicago House influenced remix clearly reflects EZLV broad production talent and with its drum solos it surely gets everyone moving on the dancefloor.
