Otographic Music opens up our new year with the fruitful new release entitled "KaNa - Uluru." KaNa is already acknowledged artist both outside and inside Japan, she has appeared at 9th place on the Beatport Trance chart with "Hiroyuki ODA - Thirty (KaNa Remix)" in the beginning of 2011. And recently, she made remixes for Tomoyuki Sakakida and Kamil Esten. This release will take you to be captivated by her prismatic and rich expressions for the productions.
The Original Mix is both housy and progressive tune, it was inspired from aussie huge sandstone monolith "Uluru". KaNa created this track with the imagination for the ancient landscape of thousands years ago. Groovy percussion beats build you up with emotional piano phrases, like discharging repressed emotions.
Kyohei Akagawa made a marvelous remix for this track. Kyohei packed a lot of his unique ideas and techniques. At the intro, the sharp-edged baselines, arpeggio, and a variety of effects and gimmicks give you more deeper and bangin essences. After the impressive breakdown with transparent synth pads, the atmosphere reaches to the climax and finally it overflows like a waterfall.
Both mixes bring you the energetic feeling of powerful melody. This is a musical story of the epic monolith.
