Planctophobs new one for RetroMetro is bang on the money. All five tracks push hard, delivering plenty of pound for your pounds. Plump, juicy kicks, quirky bass grooves and plenty of itch and glitch to get you moving In the killer track - Dark Sediment - brooding darkwave vibes meet Dopplereffekt-style machine funk in a bit crusher. And things get seriously heavy. No doubt, Dark Sediment is a very special cut, but dont pass the rest of the EP over. Danolh33 turns in a moody, shuffling bruiser of a rework. Typhlosis sports a killer groove to give Matthew Dear a run for his money, and Metroline main man Octad slams down his own straight-no-chaser interpretation. Tip!
