Truckin' is the third single from Momu's recently released and critically acclaimed full length album, "Momentum." The original mix, a tasty, vocoded electro funk track featuring live bassist J-Bone, has proved fertile ground for powerful dance floor remixes in an array of styles. Remixes by House of Stank, StereoK, Yellowcake, Sean Nash, and Jondi & Spesh run the listener through a tour of all that's good about electro, techno, progressive, and house. Label heads Jondi & Spesh turn in a deep, techy, hypnotic driver. StereoK (he still doesn't wanna be an astronaut) demonstrates he's taken his production chops up a level with a large, warm, extremely groovy progressive mix. Yellowcake (he "stole your X-Box" a few months ago) has created a housy mix that masquerades as subtle until the pumping synth chords hit. Sean Nash follows his brilliant remix of "Lipstique" with a bombastic barrage of electro-intensity. House of Stank (who also remixed Silencefiction's "Lipstique") turn the bass up all the way with an ultra-boom techno treatment.
