Trouble Sleeping?, the debut effort of Denton, Texas-based electronic act Water Gun Water Gun Sky Attack on Sectionz Records, sees the last two decades' most technical electronic music blended with the rock and folk of the artist's home region. The result is something between IDM and a rough, bright, hazy pop, with complicated, sputtering drum patterns, layers upon layers of synths, pulsing guitar lines, and vocals depicting surreal, dreamy situations.
