When Matt Nash and Luke Spencer met up for the first time in late 2001, the shared passion for house music was already bubbling under. The next 18 months saw them both take to the decks at many events across the Midlands until finally, combined with the frustration at the lack of diversity in the Coventry house scene, the desire to run their own night and brand boiled over and in June 2003 Casafunk was born. Fast forward to 2010 and they bring us Trinity, a progressive bomb full of lush melodies and beautiful soundscapes. The first remix comes courtesy of Steve Haines who shows us why he is an artist forever on the up with a quality version focused on a big dreamy breakdown. Finally Matt and Luke (with help from Paul Abel) turn in their individual mixes, both heading for slightly deeper territory though still keeping the uplifting edge making this a quality package not to be missed.
