So without even being released The Only F*cking Rave Party was: #1 on the Official Australian Independent Music Chart; #4 on Official Australian Artist ARIA Singles Chart; #11 on the Official Dance ARIA Dance Single (and #1 Aust Dance Artist Single); #14 Official Australian Club Chart (with no hype); #43 on the Official ARIA Singles Chart. Until now only the original mix taken from a compilation at 128kbps has been available. This is the release of full 320kbps quality original and remix package! The Only: After just 12 months on the job in Australia, The Only have seemingly come out of nowhere to grab the Australia club and festival scene by the short and curlies. Their first single started a bidding war between various heavy weight Australia dance labels and saw a slew of recording, management & agents offers role in the door. Not comfortable with doing things they way they have always been done and in fact openly believing the world has more than enough DJs, The Only are doing things differently. Although never having gone to art school, The Only can best be described as an art school project that isnt sure if its a band, a fictional comic book or a multimedia visual installation. There are slamming records; a story told in the form of a hand illustrated comic; and as live show that terms the notion of 'live' on its head. In just 12 months The Only: Remixed Dizzee Rascal & Armand Van Helden, Mighty Fools, Chelley, Cyberpunkers, Tyken and more; Became so bored of lazy dance music performers that they have developed two shows to take on the road: Club Mode is an audio visual experience incorporating a live approach to the art of DJing with custom visuals. Festival Mode adds a 3rd member to the show, but not as youd expect. Using technology not ever before used in Australia, The Only introduces a virtual singer that fronts the band like never seen before. Toured their Only F*cking Rave Party across the country, including taking the stage to a 7,000 strong crowd alongside The Bloody Beetroots & Crookers at Foreshore Festival, rocking club shows at Villa in Perth, Family in Brisbane, HQ in Adelaide + more all before rolling out NYE in Sydney at Chinese Laundry on NYE and Field Day on NYD.
