While keeping his prole quietly underground he managed to release during the last 5 year on some of the most appreciated european techno and electronica labels, detaining his peculiar approach while exploring different genres. Mixing a strong jazz influrnce and a tight funk with IDM and glitches, his music is fresh air, but very dense, thoughtful and amusing at the same time. In 2009 he grounded Left Handed, his own record label, meant to showcase in a more consequent and extensive way his talents as a producer. Still busy with gigs in some of finest European and North American clubs, Touane has set his focus on Left Handed for all that concerns his creativity and its divulgation. Owing his name to his personal "other way around" approach to music making, Left Handed will over a consistent amount of extra content besides the regular release catalogue, from free downloads of improvised session recordings to Sample libraries and software patches. The new series of LHD releases, The Live Archive, it’s a rework and rearraging of material performed exclusively live during the latest 6 months of Touane shows across the globe. 1) The Bass and the Abstract Truth Born as a two hour session in the studio back in 2009, this track made it to a final form way after it became a staple as the opening to my latest North America and European shows.
