Bulletdodge are again set to enhance their solid reputation of releasing fine undiluted music with this latest release, "The Far Side" from producer Werner Niedermeier, backed by three excellent remixes from James Blonde & Dekay, Oliver Deutschmann and Seftmeister. Werner has produced a deep yet groovy feel on the original track by using a solid bass line and haunting vocal. He effectively uses warm strings to pop in and out of his track instantaneously, intelligently contrasted with light repetitive keys to create a dancefloor classic. Next up is James Blonde and Dekay's superb remix. With an infectious bassline, and hypnotic groove the production pays homage to the original whilst maintaining a techy edge. Oliver Deutschmann follows by creating a percursive masterpiece, dubby effects, and finely placed vocals with a subtle acid line to ensure that this track is a serious club weapon. Lastly is the Seftmeisters remix, which provides an appropriate counterpoint to the title track. It portreys a detroit feel with a deep dark bassline and uses unique sounds and effects to create an exciting track which completely polishes this release off.
