In a new edition of the Area Remote digital EP series, we welcome back Samuel Dan and his friend German Brigante.
Samuel Dan seemed destined to end up making and playing music around the world since his father was also a DJ. Now he himself is twiddling knobs and faders across Europe. The young Spaniard spent a year studying in Germany, where he learned and improved his trade in and around some key clubs. The mans production skills have now gotten him some serious recognition, since he started releasing in 2010. Only last year he produced the Chocolate Girl EP on Area Remote, getting high praise for the luscious deep house feel of the record.
German Brigante from warm, sunny Spain has a distinctive sound that is known for its stunning groove and percussive touches. His productions produce great energy and are therefore exquisite dance floor material.
Together, these two Spanish guys have produced a funky and blazing hot EP.
SWEET HOME: The entire track is soaked in a gutsy use of whimsical drums and sounds of wooden rattlers and shakers to accompany the dark but playful vocal snippets. Its German Brigantes energetic sound combined with Samuel Dans deep house genius that makes this a sizzling hot track.
GOOD TIMES: Dark vocals set to a beat buzzing with excitement, and bossy bass line waves of heavy melody to emerge you into deep house heaven. With this tune its no problem having a good time.
