The "Step By Step" EP continues in the trusted vein of..ahem..three-ways and this time the exploration takes unexpected turns. Cristian Varela's aptly titled opener features high-pitched synth stabs over a slightly tribal groove, before unfolding into a maelstrom of epic riffs and full-on anthemic chords. Elio Riso picks up with "Secret Of Ibiza" and while the sharp drums cut through the sweaty air, a rubber-band bass holds together all the housey sensibilities that appear and take the whole affair to a different level. DJ Jock closes with a jacking rhythm section, he himself taking the tribal factor up a notch and using extreme vocal manipulation to control the floor.
