t begins to tell...round midnight! Yes, the Union DJ's are back in action. Most of you might not remember the first appearance of the Union DJ moniker, but we did an EP a while back called the Party Life EP!! If you haven't checked out those tracks, they're definitely worth a listen. Now, the Union DJ brand returns, this time with 3 nocturnal noise-makers designed to stir up the midnight with their melodic melodies! I have to admit to you, I haven't been this excited about an EP since the Union Afro Girl logo first appeared in the Party Life EP. Back then, the Union DJ's EP was a groundbreaking event, catapulting our modest brand into a label worth recognizing. I assure you this EP is no different! All the tracks are slammin', but I want to point out one in particular which I've been particularly obsessed with: the Uneaq back in time remix. Wow. The drum production on this is incredible. I have to hand it to Uneaq, they've always managed to maintain a level of quality that is unsurpassed in the house scene. It's professional, it's tasteful...it's really good music. Check this track out and have your ears screaming for more. The Oscar Miranda remix is a surprising edition to this EP. Very moody and dope, this track adds a dash of twisted jazz vocals with a touch of piano. I also want to take this moment to welcome Oscar Miranda to the Union label; this is one way to make an impression! Finally we come to the midnight chugger that is sure to put your feet in a groove: the Chris Robson remix. Chris made his debut on Union with the Do I Move You Ep a while back. He's back for some more remix action with his version of 12 O Clock. I especially like to use this track when mixing two or three songs. It adds a nice texture to the groove, something that can be mixed in and out of any set. That's all for us this month. We'll be online again very soon with another round of digital delicacies.
